My goal is to be able to utilize my graphic design or computer skills in a position within the computer, Web design, or related fields. My skill set includes Web & graphic design, desktop publishing, computer image manipulation, and illustration. I take pride in my ability to produce quality results, streamline workflow, and improve efficiency. I also enjoy working on precise, detailed projects. Since 1999, I've been working as a web designer and general computer consultant both full time and on a freelance basis.

• Outstanding computer skills including Web design, Desktop Publishing, and general Internet proficiency.

My software experience includes (but is not limited to) the following programs:

• Adobe Photoshop/ImageReady and Corel PhotoPaint
• CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator
• Macromedia Dreamweaver

Skilled on the PC using Windows 95/98, 2000, and XP. Primary software skills include: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, Swish, ImageReady, Gif Construction Set, MS Word and Excel, HTML, FTP, and CSS. Also knowledgeable in software and hardware installation and configuration as well as ground-up PC construction.

In addition to my artistic and computer skills, I have experience with pre-press darkroom equipment, including stat cameras, film processors, vacuum frames, and color separation tools.

• 2001 to present: Freelance Artist/Web Designer:
While working at Andy's Tee Shirts from '04 to '07, I've been doing freelance Web site design & maintenance for a number of ongoing clients since 2001. In addtion to the web work, t-shirt art, and graphic design, I perform hardware system maintenance and software upgrades & instruction for clients as needed. Among my regular clients is Andy's Tee Shirts, for which I create custom and souvenir T-shirt designs for the automotive specialty market, car shows, and automotive events.

• 2004 - 2007: Computer Artist/Designer - Andy's Tee Shirts:
In addition to maintaining my client base of freelance web design & maintenance, I work at an updated version of the company I worked for in '98 & '99. I'm once again creating custom and souvenir T-shirt designs on the computer for the automotive specialty market, car shows, and automotive events.

• 2000 - 2001: Web Designer - Barron Communications/Digital River Media/Freelance:
Web site development from concept to completion, updating existing Web sites to improve layout & usability, creating banner ads, and back end web catalog updates. I also handled daily client dial-up and e-mail account management issues on Windows 2000 Server.

• 1998 - 1999: Computer Artist/Designer - Andy's Tee Shirts:
Created custom and souvenir T-shirt designs for the automotive specialty market, car shows, and events, through a combination of both hand illustration and computer design (Illustrator, CorelDraw, and Photoshop). Assisted with the process of converting from manual color separation techniques to a computer-based workflow to speed production, print quality and accuracy.

• 1994 - 1996: Graphic Artist/Typesetter - Palm Beach Thermography:
Designed business cards, letterheads, envelopes, flyers, etc., on the computer to meet daily printing deadlines. Increased production and streamlined workflow through the design of master layout grids and customer management system to track and maintain customer files.

• 1991 - 1993: Computer Artist/Illustrator - Fine Line Graphics:
First began my work on the PC computer, creating logos, business cards, letterheads, flyers, and other marketing materials. Also produced technical illustrations for IBM customer and service manuals using IBM’s DrawMaster VM program, and illustrated cartoons for educational and teaching manuals.

• 1984 - 1990: Artist/Designer - Various Companies/Freelance Work:
Designed both custom and souvenir T-shirt artwork, supervised art department and staff of three artists, met with buyers for theme parks to improve and upgrade artwork for their souvenir sportswear lines. Rendered landscape blueprints and elevations for residential and commercial real estate properties.

In addition to graduating in 1984 from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale with an A.S. degree in Commercial Art and Advertising Design, I read everything I can get my hands on with regards to graphic design, computer hardware & software, and web site construction. My formal education also includes training seminars in Adobe Photoshop from Rockhurst University, and Microsoft Word and Excel courses from NorthTech Education Center.
