John Brogan is a California CPA and is licensed to practice law in California, New York and Washington, D.C. In his 27 year career, he has spent approximately equal amounts of time in tax law practice, as a partner in a Big 4 accounting firm and as the Director of Tax of a publicly held company based in San Francisco.

John has been on the adjunct faculty of the Graduate School of Taxation of Golden Gate University for over 15 years. He has taught a variety of corporate tax and consolidated return tax courses at that university and is currently teaching the merger and acquisition course.
