This was taken at the Division 2 Finals at Orlando Speedway in Florida a few years ago. Running slicks for the first time, it was my first year in the "Pro" class, and I was the slowest car in every round, totally opposite of when I raced in the Sportsman (Street) class. Then I go to the Finals, and I was trying so hard to concentrate, I didn't even notice that my opponent was dialed slower than me - the first time all year. When he left the starting line first, it totally threw me off! Focus is a good thing; blinding yourself to what's going on around you is not!

The above photo is also from The Division 2 Finals in Orlando, this time showing both the Camaro and my Dakota. I usually drive the Camaro to the races, but the Finals were far enough away that I thought it would be a better idea to borrow a trailer. Getting in and out of the car with the side rails on the trailer was the real trick. At least I know what NOT to get if I ever buy my own trailer! :-)
